Since 1879, the Hofmann Sausage Company has been handcrafting much more than hot dogs and sausages, we’ve been building a legend. Frank W. Hofmann came to New York in 1861, bringing his popular German recipes with him and starting a meat market. His family settled in Syracuse and incorporated Hofmann in 1879. What started as a regional favorite on the premise of using quality cuts of meat and the best spice blends has grown with fans across the country who have a passion for our entire line. Whether you prefer classic Hofmann like our famous German Franks and Snappy Grillers, or want to experience new and exciting taste combinations, we create ridiculously tasty products that satisfy all.

Today, we make a variety of hot dogs and sausages, tender beef jerky and Hunter Sticks, and condiments that add a special something to many meals. All of our products proudly wear the Hofmann brand name, and we back them with our pledge to continue what our founder started well over a century ago, creating quality products that people love.
