About Us
Chica Celita’s began producing small batch salsa at Nelson Farms’ incubator kitchen in Cazenovia at the beginning of 2022. The story begins with my grandmother Celia’s(Celita as she was affectionately called) recipe from Puebla Mexico as it was something we shared at gatherings with friends and family for years. As an authentic ‘restaurant style‘ salsa, it is smooth in consistency and reminiscent of what you would expect to get from a Mexican restaurant served with a warm basket of tortilla chips. Ingredients are simple, clean, no added sugar, gluten-free, vegan and all natural:diced tomatoes, jalapeños, cilantro, garlic, salt, spices(peppers, cilantro, and garlic coming from NYS). We look forward to introducing and sharing our addictive salsa with new people always!
